Don't see these every day...

A Tangara (2CV based jeep thingy) to restore for peanuts. They usually go for serious money.
And is that a BX Speedline peeking out of the back window...?

That's amazingly cheap, even for a basket case - these go for several thousand in roadworthy condition

Indeed they do - as it happens I know of a very, very good one not far from you if you know anyone who's interested!

That could be a speedline in the back or it might be a baby panda waking up from a little sleep?

Is that one still around

It's been around for a while now, and the last price I heard wasn't too bad for what it is. A mate of mine expressed an interest recently but assumed it had sold after all this time

Yes, it's still around - it mostly serves as a repository for all my Ebay goodies in between my trips back to UK! Since Nick retired he's not really been actively trying to sell stuff, although even he's starting to admit that maybe he needs to have a bit of a clearout sometime soon, so if your mate's still interested tell him to give Nick a ring.
He's also got a very nice Renault 4 F6 van with side windows there, a good black/burgundy Charleston 2CV, a Beachcomber (possibly sold by now) and a good LHD Renault Express van (with windows). Also still got a nice AK400 but I think he's planning to keep that.

See, told ya! It is a panda. He's opening his baby panda mouth and having a little yawn. Bless, I love pandas: they're so cute :-$

Not me, I was just humouring Sandre. Pandas are indigenous to the mountain ranges of South Western and Central China, not bloody France. (pandas are cute though - you've got to admit!?) :D

Whut, I thought I was humouring Paul (you started it!)

Also, I'm not quite mad. Try 'very'.

I didn't know what a Tangara was. This is what it should look like

The ad really doesn't give much away, surely got to be a wreck for that price?

Yes, but the bodies are plastic, which (barring accident damage) should be salvageable, most of the running gear is standard Citroen, and if it sits on a standard 2CV chassis then they are also readily available.

They only built a couple of thousand, so it's wort being rescued on rarity value alone.
