30th "Anniversaire" at Aulnay's Citroën factory september 22

Post by Xemes »

Hi everybody ,

First of all I congratulate every BX owner for their beautifull cars I've seen in Harrogate last week-end !
I'm a french BX owner ( 16RS série 1 only 15 000 Km ) and Citroën fan
I'm also member of the french club and forum :" univers BX et XM "

We organinize one event day for the BX 30th "Anniversaire" on september 22nd located at the Citroën factory in Aulnay sous bois ( 15 km north-east from Paris)

On that day in the morning we shall also be allowed to visit the Citroën Conservatoire du Patrimoine ( pre-registration is needed ): http://www.citroen.fr/conservatoire-cit ... e-citroen/

This is a must place to see and every Citroën fan have to go there at least once in his life :D =D>
And maybe it will be one of the last possible visit

If you are interested you can contact me ( english spoken ) or you can directly go to the forum to register you or your car ( for those who understand french language ) :
http://www.univers-bx-et-xm.com/t7350-l ... s-de-la-bx

I must add that even if this is a BX day every Citroën car and owner is welcome there on that day : other cars than BX are already registrated

I beg your parson for my possible spelling mistakes

I hope to meet many of you on that wonderfull Citroën BX day :!:

Hi 'Xemes' Welcome and great to hear from you. With a bit more spare cash available, I'd be there like a shot. Have a great day and hope you'll be able to post a few pictures of the event. I'm sure we'd all be really interested to see them.

^ T-shirts available if anyones interested (he said, shamelessly marketing his bloody T-shirts  )

I apologize you don't come ( at least for your T-shirts I would have liked to have one for that day …)
I hope some cash falls on you before that date …

Im up for it, I think if do it on the cheap and chuck some cash in a pot for diesel (its much cheaper in France).

I would like to take the DTR! :D

Plus if we make it a two day event with just one night in a cheap hotel and use the Ferry like we did in 2009 at the Conservatoire it can be quite affordable.

Just checked prices with Eurotunnel. If we departed Folkstone on the 21st of september and returned on the 23 rd it would be £90 return. That's for the car irrespective of the number of passengers. Coming back on the 23 rd would give us some time to wander round Paris. Etap hotels are fairly cheap. Don't fancy a F1 hotel, it's like sleeping inside a Lego brick!

Paris time: Louvre for me, or Notre Dame/Eiffel Tower, neither of which were possible last time I went to Paris. Versailles gardens are pretty impressive too, but possibly not the best time of year.
