Quick question for you Mk1 experts out there:

Are there any differences between Mk1 & Mk 2 door skins?

Nope. The doors themselves are interchangeable but you will need to swop over the wiring as the connectors are different.

Mk1 doors are no good on a mk2 IIRC, but mk2 doors fit the mk1.

What I'll probably do is rebuild whichever are the better doors between what's on the car now and your doors, while the other set are on the car

I would swop the doors mike as I did on the DTR as they are interchangeable, I have a set of four white St Tropez doors in my shed you can have FREE and they are rust free and straight but are the wrong colour and have tinted glass.

Thanks Tim, but between the set I'm getting from Kitch, plus some cream rear doors I've just aquired from a guy in Bristol, I'd getter take stock of what I've got so far before getting any more
