Chronic rot in the LH rear wing and rear crossmember, other seams blowing (boot floor, engine bay) but it's not bad in other areas (sills are generally sound as are the A and C posts). If you're handy with fabrication and a welder, you could save it. Realistically, it's probably a donor.
Engine is very strong but needs a cambelt and clutch. Gearbox is absolutely fine in all gears. Car has clocked up 190,000 miles now with full service history until I sold it last year. There is a leak from the thermostat gasket which I've done nothing about. I keep meaning to buy a new gasket. There are some oil leaks as well - rocker cover gasket for sure.
Interior is generally good apart from driver's seat base. I've removed the self-cancelling indicator collar but this could be replaced - I still have it.
Has had two new wheel bearings up front recently. Has a good, strong towbar with rather a lot of surface rust. I reckon it'd clean up well enough.
Aside from clutch judder, it drives very nicely - though the spheres are not in the first flush of youth. Central locking and both electric windows work (I've just replaced a rear lock solenoid).
Still has an MOT until next summer.
£100ono.
