Red Shed in thumpage

Post by Philip Chidlow »

Just seen Facebook: The BX Tim and Jorge took on the Challenge has a serios front end smash. :( Luckily nobody hurt, but the 'Red Shed' is not a pretty sight...

Problem with Photobucket is sparing you the image at the moment...

I saw :( - glad the people are all OK, but such a shame.

I just hope it looks worse (and that's bad enough) than it is. Photobucket not working for me either, Facebook link seems OK.

:( That was/is a lovely car and as Tim has stated a real shame considering the time and effort to bring it back from the brink and as it's status as a "Challenge" car. My abiding memory is Tim flying round French round-a-bouts at comical angles of lean, with the sills almost scraping the French Tarmac!! Hope it can be fixed, but in all likelihood the assessor will write it off, hopefully a Cat C. Jorge if you're reading this hope you're ok and don't be too despondent. :)

Damn shame, and although anything's repairable, I don't think this one is an easy job to do at home

Interestingly, for me it's cheaper to have comprehensive insurance rather than 3rd party F+T by about £20!

I may be wrong on the 3rd party bit, but i know the Insurance was very steep for a young driver, i doubt if its fully comp he will be submitting a claim for the BX though as its very much a write off sadly.

Noone was hurt, its all part of our motoring career and inexperience, been there, done it!
