Yes bud, i can agree with what you are saying but it all depends how bad they are and how much you are prepared to spend in sorting them. Even better if you can do it yourself but not all of us are so skilled.
Parts cars can be worth their weight in gold so to speak if you have one and desperately need bits off it. I have had loads of bits of my scrapper thats kept my runners in fine fettle, otherwise would have just suffered and the scrapper wasnt worth saving having lived by the sea all its life, so horses for courses.
