But then I'd have to give Tim a slap on the wrist for putting it in the wrong place!

You should probably start by deciding if you want alloys or wheel trims and go from there. Get the important stuff out of the way.

Get a TD bud, ive been after one for years, finally got one and WOW, the n/a Estate is ok but only ok, the TD is magnificent by comparison.
However, bloody well keep driving the DTR, otherwise what was the point of spending all that time and money on her!!

There's an easy answer here. Simply ship each BX you own to a different bit of Scotland and change as you go around. Genius eh?

I must concede that the way a TD accelerates uphill rather than labours is rather exciting...

It's a pity that DTR estate was no good - If it was just the welding that made it unviable I could help with that, especially as it's so rare!

It is rare Mike, but the bodys rusty, and the electrics are butchered, it is mendable, but beyond my skills.

Tim I agree get a Turbo. Dont let the others talk you out of it. It is the best one of the lot to drive I think. My two go just as fast as the GTi and accelerate amazingly well when the turbo kicks in and they only sip the expensive fuel too.
I would be taking my Hurricane TD down to Nice tomorrow instead of the GTi if the engine was not in pieces on the garage floor.

Thats my ccs anyway.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.
