The Red Baron is now home and is due in Newcastle on Saturday I shall run it for a week then get it away for its bumper paint before the NEC.
The rest of the tribe is unchanged tho I should sort the RE gears tomorrow afternoon

It sure will it will be getting a good clay bar and polish, its only got one tiny flaw, no heater the valve has stuck shut, that's going to have to be fixed rapidly

Hi Mike, just got a renewal notice for the VED on the Red Baron. I assume this is an administrative error and you have actually registered the BX! :) If not (but I'm sure you have) can you please sort it out with the DVLA. Ta muchly. I sent a PM earlier... ;)

Not like the DVLA to get it wrong do they ever get it right? and yes I even have a V5 for it in my name.
I didn't get a pm ?
On a good note the Red Baron is behaving itself I've been using it daily it saves me a fortune in diesel over the juke which I don't understand at all, the new fuel pump has made a huge difference even from freezing it starts with no preheat first touch.

I suppose the Juke is quite a bit heavier than the BX & the small capacity engine is always on boost, otherwise it just would be v-slow, so i guess fuel consumption might not be all that good. I must admit, i though those 1.5dci engines were very good on fuel, out of interest, how many mpg does the Juke do?

I can't quite get the juke to average 51mpg if i drive it really carefully keep the eco sat high in the green i can just scrape 51, normal driving drops it to 47 bearing mind thats with just me in and no extra items and of course no spare wheel wheras the Baron managed a stunning 61mpg over this week, the new injector pump has made a difference it is set very conservatively it won't make any smoke. It's no slouch though it went off for bumper paint and clay bar polish cruised at 80 for an hour no problems.Hope fully back tomorrow ready for an interior clean for NEC.
Had to fetch the Juke to work this morning the heated seats are a bonus I might have to investigate that in the BX.
