Suspension pipe

Post by Discoil »

The BX is my wife's car
She had gone to Rochdale ( thats over the border ) and when the car was restarted , the BIG red light was on.
It was driven back 15 miles :? and the green fluid was all over the concrete base. #-o

Managed to get it up onto car ramps to find the underneath was dripping with Lhm fluid. Traced the leak to a pipe , front height corrector to 3 way junction. :)
Then the vertigo problem happened , headache, dizziness etc.

I phoned someone who has started to repair the BX when necessary.
He came out on Sunday morning ,took off the old pipe , made a new one and fitted it . 30 minutes ..
Well chuffed .

No ! It is a three way on the driver's side / inner wing and then a metal pipe to the front height corrector . It is the main feed fromm the corrector to the front susp units .
