I haven't forgotten...

Post by Philip Chidlow »

... The Citroen GTi register, that is. work and other things have got a bit in the way of producing the list in a distributable form, but bear with me. Any other interested parties? Ian, I believe you have something to the list.

Remember, three catagories: On the Road (drivers including 'rolling resto's')), On the Drive (lol!) (projects and rebuilds), and Gone but not forgotten (lost, scrapped, sold on etc...).

Pictures are a bonus, as I will include any I receive.

email detail and pics to citroengti@btopenworld.com

This register is just a bit of fun and any Citroen GTi is welcome - AX, BX, CX and Visa...

There`s two new possibles on eBay at the moment Philip. The one you`re bidding on and the red one in Wigan.

Phil, the car belongs to the missus and she's spent 2 days cleaning and polishing it so it looks fabulous!

Surely you know enough about this car???

You're right, of course!

A chance of any pics? (when the weather's better)...

At the moment I'm wondering if I'll end up with the silver GTi auto in Lincoln. That looks like it'd benefit hugely from a bit of TLC, and servicing. Trouble is knowing I'm going in to a service and timing belt change asap limits my budget severely... Let's see what happens 8-[

It's this one: I don't mind if anyone with deeper pockets wants to take a punt, I've just put in a lowish bid and that'll be that. If I do win it I'll try and get to meet up with you, Sleepy.

If you come up this way Phil i'll meet you (and aaron?) with the GTi auto or Xantia so you can have a smooch over it!

Might be a good opportunity for us 'notherners' to meet the 'southerners'
