An interesting plate that's going to tempt someone who couldn't give a to** that it's a BX.

Miles OT, but.....we had a white Ami 8 Estate that was reg AMY XXXH (can't remember the number - I wasn't very old!). No prizes for guessing what it was called...

Actually that was the first in a long line of Citroens - I think my Dad got it in about 1977
I NEED a BX TD.

To be honest mate I don`t think it`ll make much difference. No disrespect to the seller but private plates are hard to sell and the market is flooded at the moment. That`s not to say someone won`t just buy it for the plate and bin the car but I think it`s reasonably unlikely unless the car was so cheap it`d be hard to resist.

Yep I guess you're right - just re-read and realised it's up for £500.

It's just that I have an Amy in the house.... !

Its funny, my first Bx was a 1.4e and its plate was D165SAM, price i paid for the car was £1000 but that was 11 years ago so maybe i got the plate "free".
Was offered a few quid for the plate but ended up selling the car with the plate, on a different car by now i bet

To be fair Jez a car with that kind of mileage should be well worth the asking price as it is so the plate`s a bonus.

Billy,
I quite agree mate £500 is a bargain for a car with that milage on it and the plate will be a bonus if Amy buys the car  i was mearly saying i to had a bargain with my 1.4e
