To be honest mate I don`t think it`ll make much difference. No disrespect to the seller but private plates are hard to sell and the market is flooded at the moment. That`s not to say someone won`t just buy it for the plate and bin the car but I think it`s reasonably unlikely unless the car was so cheap it`d be hard to resist.Philip chidlow wrote:An interesting plate that's going to tempt someone who couldn't give a to** that it's a BX.

Its funny, my first Bx was a 1.4e and its plate was D165SAM, price i paid for the car was £1000 but that was 11 years ago so maybe i got the plate "free".
Was offered a few quid for the plate but ended up selling the car with the plate, on a different car by now i bet

I quite agree mate £500 is a bargain for a car with that milage on it and the plate will be a bonus if Amy buys the car
