Spotted in Grantham . . .

Post by Paul296 »

. . . outside that row of 'posh' houses where Mrs.Thatcher was born (opposite the Catholic church): a silver TGS/TGD (by the look of the wheel-trims) with a bashed in off-side wing - anybody?

The Bourne Citroen Centre have a door and wings available for me in the right colour, just waiting for the insurance asessor to inspect it before doing any work, apparently they will let me keep the vehicle if it hasn't damaged the steering/suspension.

Be careful, they will try and write it off, dont let them! its well documented on here they just try and throw away old cars, and sometimes you have a fight on your hands.

That is quite true Tim, to be honest I was just about logging out when I spotted the wing on Ebay and I never read the description at all and I never even bothered to click/enlarge the photo to check the front/leading edge cut-out feature to decipher which type of indicator it suited

But as its for a MK1 surely anyone with one (If they haven't got a spare one for the N/S)
should buy it as there harder to source than a MK2 !

:)
