Just wondering - I don't get so mechanically involved of course - living, as I do, in the South

I really can't see how/what that compresses. After all, it's not like there are any springs to compress......

I've changed ARB bushes!

Didnt really get a choice! MattW's old St Tropez that came from AdamSki had a VERY warped front subframe and shattered ARB mount (it was in three bits) and as a result the rubber bush was totally mangled!

Thing is, on the 1.4 and 16v (the donor) the mount has a split in it and is flexible and very easy to remove and refit, you certainly dont need a tool to do it, so i wonder what exactly that tool does!

And Jon just to clarify we only changed the mount and bush on one side so you still haven't heard of anyone changing a set :D

This wouldn't be the gadget they use to set the pre-load on the sway bar by any chance?
Someone was showing me one of them a while back but as I've never had to do one in all the years I've owned Citroens I didn't take a real lot of notice.

By the time you're old enough to know it all, you can't remember why you were learning.
