C/Locking key fob

Hi has anyone got a remote central locking keyfob I cannot afford new and i cannot locate a second hand one.
I am keeping my eye out on ebay though.

Yes you can but they are GULP.... £46.71 Inc VAT....... OUCH

Which is why i am after robbing someones parts bin I also have one more breakers to try otherwise i will have to get a pug one and do a bit of electronic wizardry.

I'm after a spare ignition coil and ignition module for Sue's new GTi. I cant remember which igntion system that 4x4 had, can you?

yes its the black box bolted to the end of the engine and not the distributor type and they wanted £15 if i remember correctly it is only held on with 4 bolts i can fetch it if you want as i will be near there on monday.

Aaron, if its the coil pack (black box) type model then yes, i'd like that. Could you get me the ignition module too please? Thats the item that sits just under the right hand side (as you look at it) of the inlet manifold.

I havent got one matey either, in fact I need one for my 16v, hows you getting on with the new toy aaron?

I just fetched some nice TSW alloys and correct fogs for mine from lincoln so it should be looking pukka soon!

To widen your search a little - I think that ZXs have the same receiver so if you can find a matched receiver and fob then you're sorted.
