She has arrived!!

Post by Mothman »

Picked up Gloria from Malcolm this morning and she drove home very well. Surprisingly, plenty of power for an Automatic diesel. Mollie has had to go out in the cold for now as this one needs to be looked after.
Malcolm has done a great job on getting a motor thats been off the road for nearly 11 years.
Ime well pleased with her.

Very like, still prefer Sophie's colour, but there's no denying that Gloria is a beaut!

She rolled off the production line on 27/3/86 but wasnt registered until 31/10/86 so probably one of the last MK 1s to be sold. As the first MK 2s were being sold by then ime sure the buyer got a good discount.
She is going to be well cherished and will be seen at the X rally and maybe at others later in the year.

She does look rather lovely, nice peek at Mollie in the background too - if you ever decide to sell Mollie...

I am seriously coming round to the fact that the one motor ime not using enough Tom is the TGS Estate.

I would rather keep all the MK 1s under cover so will do a little work on her and in the next month or so she will be offered up for sale.

Mollie will be kept in the fold, sorry Tom.

I will keep all the MK 1s, sorry Chris but the TGS is the one to go. Just dont use her enough,
Would like a grand for her as she is, more if i sort her a bit and that wont take much.
