cant do the fancy picture links sorry
Here how's its done !

1) Hit the 'URL' box from the 'message body selection' thus

2) Notice the cursor/marker in-between the 'URL' boxes and then hit the 'Img' box to get this (img][/img)

Edit:- I'd had to change the [Square] outer 'img' brackets to (normal-ones) in the example /\ to make it visible in these instructions (for some reason they get knocked off if no text/code is placed between the boxes) which I noticed after initially submitting the post but in reality there [Square] [Brackets] as selected by the message body !

3) Then add an '=' symbol after the first 'URL' box thus :- (img][/img)

4) From the Gumtree/E-bay ad copy/insert the 'view Image Info/code' from the Photo !
This code is found by first Clicking onto the enlarged image in the ad to get a larger image and with the mouse cursor over the image, right click and select the pull down tag 'View image info' which is listed under the 'Media Tag' (If it didn't default to that list) but is usually pops up automatically on screen with the 'IMG' code, which you need to select and copy with your right mouse button.
Then drop 'IMG' code between the 'Img' boxes as in instruction 2) above.

5) Finally select/copy the usual 'www Gumtree/E-bay link/address' and drop that in after the = symbol as inserted in 3) above, in the first 'url' box :- www.HERE]Image

6) Select the 'Preview button' below to see if work's okay and if so hit the 'Submit' to make your posting.

Which should look like this :-

Click on photo for link

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you just want a Photo just drop the 'view Image Info/code' between a pair of 'img' boxes thus :-

Simples

£995? Amusing! Did belong to a pal of mine but looks like someone is trying to punt it on for huge profit. I think they picked the wrong car for that...

Its got 106 Rallye wheels on it now, which look kinda kitch, those rear 1/4 panels worry me though as they will be rusted through.

As stated its obviously had some paintwork done in that area BUT exactly what lurks beneath that paintwork as the Fresh paint is showing the signs of some Brown freckles :?

Maybe Ian or Ians friends knows a bit more possibly ?

It's definitely a bit crusty in that area. My mate reckons the valve stem seals have gone as well as apparently it can be a bit smokey.

Wheels are Saxo with 205 centre caps. Now all painted white!

Here's a pic of it last summer.

I've always like the Preview model, but £995 with those issues? That's good TD/GTI/16V money.

995 probably isn't going to happen is it? I'd say 500 tops is nearer the mark. People seem to thing that 'rare' = 'dosh': it doesn't. A TV production company buying minters to trash = 'dosh'!

[-X i got this as a px, as i thought an 80's car i could live with again, i dont like it, its not the bx diesel i had a few years back that got written off by a damn bin wagon  , i listed on ebay with no clue of what they're worth, couldnt find any on ebay/autotrader/gumtree or tinternet , the rear wings are scabby, have seen worse/done worse, i didnt cover it up but would take me a weekend to sort it properly, the wheels were painted white as they were black and scabby, its a shame there are only 3 of the original wheel trims left as they would have been straight back on( remind me somehow of 'TRON' dont know why :) if it doesnt sell i would like to strip and rebuild it, if i get near 500 for it i would be happy, dont want to fall out with u guys but come on, i want to sell it really so stop bitching!! i wish i could have my diesel one back, i had a gti too but didn't feel as good as the diesel, ah well, now i am a member i hope i can help and share any knowledge and not 'cuss' anybody elses car they are trying to sell, it is what it is, thanks guys
sorry :) rant over :)

hehe, cheers bud, i know, same with all the hot rod sites, i'm not a dealer, i do it as a hobby for my sins, have done a few resto's on some sheite over the years, vw beetle, bus, camper, i did a woody version of a passat, a disney cars lightning mcqueen ford puma( for the kids and a laugh), lada niva's, ford fiesta mk1, mk2, citroen ds, and the dreaded gs  , and the lovely 2 cv's #-o , i enjoy working on the older stuff as its what i was brought up with as my grandpa (rip) and mt father both had their own garages from the 70's till the 90's, the good ol days.... there is a great little citroen specialist near me, he only works on the older stuff and he's usually always busy hehe, infact when i first pulled it into his garage he told me to f888 off hehe, he loves the bx really, he has an old estate and a trailer made from another so he's hooked lol,
i really want to keep it as a small project, but sale really needed due to the csa stinging me for an old arrears debt  , so i do need the money more than a project, i have had a few bx'x in the past too, never really been put off by one, wouldnt have another old beetle though jesus!!, cheers again
