Wanted BX 14TGE white front bumper (no spot lights)

Does anybody know where I can get a white bumper for my BX14 TGE, the corner is badly cracked as someone pulled out without looking

I have to negtiate the cost of replacing it with their insurance, what would be a realistic price for one these?

I'd go to Citroen to see if they can get hold of one & if it needs painting factor that in as well. Bumpers are approx £50-£100 brand new off e-bay, but will be a lot more at a dealer, but seeing as its not you that was responsible for damaging the car, i don't see why you should make too much effort in reducing their bill. Best of luck with securing one.

As ^ said, is it painted or white plastic?

I have a white poverty spec one (and a rear) free to collector but it depends where you are. They both need a bloody good clean but as far as i remember they're undamaged.

Bumpers are in Basingstoke.

I did not think you could get these from Citroen any more. Last time I tried to get parts, they had deleted all the old part numbers from there inventory systems, so could not tell me if they have any stock.

What would a "poverty spec" be? Really wanted to keep it original as possible.

Are these prices from Citroen or a pattern?

The cheaper one is more than likely the one you'll need. Are they paying you cash once you've sent them the cost of the parts etc...or do they want to actually fix the car for you? If its the latter, ask for £300 & then get a nice 2nd hand one for a few bob off a forum member & enjoy spending the rest of the money on something else more bx parts perhaps, haha...

those price's are from service citroen ( citroens part look up system )

they are the only two options that do not state NFP ( no longer available )

Did see the add when I was searching earlier. Not used preloved before. Anyway, Citroen only seem to have grey unprimed ones. There are pattern ones by Phira, but these are also in grey. Possibly Citroen are selling these with a mark up, forgot to ask whether the 95661824 part is a genuine part or a pattern. May re-check this.

The coloured plastic bumpers only seemed to be available from Citroen when the cars were current, after that they all came in grey and were painted to match, which although look better/more shiny can look odd compared to the old and normally faded colour impregnated one on the other end!

both of those part No.'s were selected from service citroen, so yes genuine/OE parts

White BX's arent that rare, and the colour impregnated bumpers are the most common so I imagine some will show up.
