Not a BX, but a cheap ZX TD Estate

A mate of mine has a ZX Leader TD Estate that he's replacing with a 1954 Morris Minor (as you do!). His daughter has been using it the last few weeks but has just bought herself another car, so the ZX has to go. Details are:

P reg turbo diesel estate Leader, MOT'd 23/08/13, tax'd 30/04/13, mileage 166500. No known rust or mechanical problems, and has been a reliable runner for the 2 years he's owned it. Located in the wilds of Cumbria, between Carlisle & Wigton. Price £350 ono for a (hopefully) quick sale as he wants it out the way by the end of March.

Not for me good value and the TD ZX's go well! The leader is a basic car, no eleccy windows (will have power steering) etc but less is more aparently

TBH I can't remember if the front windows were leccy or keep fit, but I know that all but some of the early low spec models had power steering. I'm one of those that agree (to a point) that less is more - less to go wrong if it doesn't have leccy windows etc.

Yep, he didn't pay much more when he bought it a couple of years ago and as far as he's concerned he's had his money's worth out of it using it for work when it's been too cold / wet for the bike, with a few longer trips to cycling events. He likes it and was intending to keep it, but since replacing his LWB high top Renault Traffic cycle transporter with a SWB low roof Citroen Relay last year, plus putting the Minor on the road for local running round it's just not being used enough to justify the tax and insurance.

sounds good, the zx is a great car, have to watch for rust under the back from what i hear.
