Has to be said. When the weather is like it has been today, I miss my old Fiat X1/9.tim leech wrote:its a lovely hot summers day here am glad I have a my soft top beetle
Aparently it was rather amusing to see me drive it though, as an X a very small car, and I'm a fairly large bloke.. It was more "wearing" the car rather than sitting in it!
this might be a signature

Was out in my BX with a mate today. Air conditioning brought the interior temp down from about 38 degrees to a comfortable 22, but then we switched it off, slid back the sunroof (massive compared to most these days) - appreciating the effect of the smoked acrylic sunroof wind-deflector , opened (electrically of course) the rear windows - (the rear sun blinds were already up) and enjoyed a gentle, comfortable 70mph cruise up the A3, radio burbling in the background and still were able to hear each other chat as we went. Heaven, really. And some people put a few hundred price tag on that? I don't think so!
