AEP are cheaper, and should be (and were last year) OE spec Valeo discs.

Actually the majority of brake discs are priced and number individually (with the except of Bendix, which are paired). Even the ones that come two in a single box are still stocked and sold individually.

Whether a motor factor would be willing to sell one on it's own is a different story. I always used to refuse - what good is an odd disc on the shelf?!

Just because he's written 'discs' doesn't always mean it's a pair you're buying, such is the way of eBay. But as I said, if that is a pair than yeah, £15 all-in is pretty good. They'd cost about £5 each to buy trade, so taking into account VAT and postage that's a good deal.

Not that it matters anyway....they won't fit mine!

Incorrect ECE regulation 90 has stipulated for many years (1990 IIRC) that all brake components have to be packaged and sold in ''Axle Sets" not only that but the have to be packaged in sealed tamperproof packaging that is clearly labeled and traceable bla bla bla!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Type-approval to R90 is required for all replacement brake components throughout the European Union and in non-European countries that have adopted ECE Regulations

Ah right, well I haven't read the regulations (have better things to do). All I can tell you is that the majority of the motor factors I've worked for must be in breach of the regs. I can also tell you the ones I now deal with must also be in breach of these regs too.

Price is for a pair and they also have more front discs for other BX models too - see sellers other items

I would deffo check with the seller, nothing worse than thinking you've bought an axle set & then only one turns up, thats as useful as a chocolate fireguard & works out pricey
