Hi everybody …!
I'm now back from my roundtheworld walk : glad to be back here …!!!

I'm also going for a plaque and 2 sets of stickers if possible

And expect to be with all of you in Scotland , even if there is some little details to be adjusted : how to swim the channel by example ! and so on ……

Hi Chris and welcome back! I hope you're ready for this? Hacking round Scotland in a load of old BXs may prove to be a good deal more hazardous than merely sailing round the world! Bagpipes and kilt at the ready? 8)

Chris, welcome back! (um, there's an echo in here?)

Wear a kilt if you like, but I can assure you that if you play the bagpipes in my car, you'll find it's a bloody long walk to ... well, anywhere.

Let us know when you've sorted flights, I'm sure someone will be able to collect you from the airport, your feet must be quite tired after walking round the world already ;)

EDIT: Chris, just seen your e-mail and answered that one, messy buckets.

In my country , the far west , I mean the french far west = britain ( the little one not the great one  )
they recently have invented some kilt draws as member of celtic nations
here are their tartans :

Mine is the Cornwall one : Bro-Gerne
Not sure I'll wear it all the week due to the weather or more exactly the supposed wind …whatever with a special visit each day to some specialized factory into non milky scottish beverage it could be done … 8)
We also have small bagpipes ( everything is smaller like Brittain  …who knows…! ) with only one humble bee

If all of you ask for it I can bring it to awake everybody each morning ( garanteed ) …well after a thought maybe not : I would like to stay more than one morning
Anyway in theese hazardous lost highland countries only the braves will survive  :!:
No fear at all :Because they will be driving an old unbeatable Citroën car called …BX

I think I can help for that if needed : I know some unknown places where to be and can propose some options if you wish …

Sorry bad typing: coeur! Or should that be cœur???

The idea is it's a tour of the heart (A play on words really because not only are we talking about a tour of the heart of France - loosely - but we love the cars we are doing it in, we love driving on such events and some may even love France :) ) ;)

As far as the word cœur goes; would this be more appropriate?

Right, Mark and others, back O/T - sorry for the hijack. Can I suggest further ruminations on the 2014 Challenge continue here :) http://www.bxclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic ... 3&start=45" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I think cœur is the correct word and I now can understand your meaning : may I tell you I approve : there so much nice road to drive all over there
Regarding coer have a look at what I had found

Interesting by not so easy to actually go there

Crikey there seem to be a lot of putative 'challenges' in the offing at the moment I can hardly keep up (although I am a bit slow it had to be said  ).

I know what about a safari to sub-Saharan Africa ( we could wear hats and have stuff made out of leopardskin) then load all the cars onto a flying boat for a tour of the Amazon basin/rainforest? All the cars would have to be converted into half-tracks or helicopters or something, but we could get all the money from the World Wildlife Fund for Wildlife if we said it was all to save trees or Pandas and shit like that. No?

I'll get my coat

I trust Scotland will be good to you and being June maybe the snows will have gone... but these days there's no guarantee. ;)
