Re: Dollywobbler's 17TXD Turbo
Don't you worry. Now I've gone turbo, there's no going back! That means I'm now seeking the super-rare and increasingly popular turbo diesel estate. Did they do a TXD Turbo estate? I like the TXD spec.

I think they did, but not for very long, quite rare now!
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Well, I don't think I can be too fussy. Condition is going to be more important than spec.

Re: Dollywobbler's 17TXD Turbo - time to move on?
If you want one that needs minimal work, I suspect you may have to be patient, but welcome back in advance to the load luggers fold!
Oh, and I'm keeping mine too!!!

I might try and make a boot-protector or something for the TXD in the meantime. The interior is in lovely condition, so I feel bad using it as a van!

Well, it's all happened rather more quickly than I intended! I'm off to collect Wooscary's BX estate tomorrow, and have sold the TXD to another Citro-curious member of the Autoshite forum. Hopefully he'll make an appearance on here.

Went for a last drive in this car today, which really did remind me how nice it has become. It's done me really well and will be missed.

How did miss that one?
Saw the picture an immediately recognised it as Nottingham train station.
Must have been asleep as been looking, though not particularly actively for a nice BX, for a while.
I've not read he post fully as yet as I am on my phone but will do later.
Upset me. How much did you give for that car which I can't say I've seen driving round Nottingham in the past.

I paid £375, but then had to spend a fair chunk on balljoints and rear arm bearings. It's now in Bedfordshire but back on the market!
