BXs taking over my workshop

Post by Kitch »

We've gone from being a kit/sports car specialist to a BX storage facility....

We've got my Dad's blue GT (which is fairness is a resto job we're actually doing). Then we've got my grey (ex-Leech, ex-Hayward) ph2 16v, which needs a fair bit of TLC....namely some welding, some HP pipework and some engine tinkery (as it's rough as nails at the moment, but I suspect I know what the problem is).

And finally we have my red 16v, which today - it's last day of being on the road for a few months as it's going SORN, decided to do this:

Balls! Dosuer valve which I fitted last year is pissing LHM away. STOP light's been flickering away but I'd (wrongly) assumed with was a dicky float level sensor in the LHM reservoir. Turns out I was wrong

Jobs a job at the end of the day no matter what engine is in it. At least bx's don't have all the electrical shit of today's cars.

Dear Kitch,
I know how you feel Kitch, when they decide to chuff all their " green stuff " all over your workshop floor  There doesn,t appear to have alot of room there :(
