I think all the BX's are hiding as I have been to Dartford ( M1 ,M25) Northampton twice , and Letchworth in the last 2 weeks as well as the usual commute and all I have seen is a 2CV.

Sadly not - if I'd been down there, I Think I'd have stayed down there 'til someone told me spring had finally arrived in Normandy!
Having said that, it was gorgeous here yesterday - nice change after the snow and rain in UK on thurs/fri.

You'd have to have put stage-weight in your pockets to have stayed down. The Tramontane was blowing something awful when we arrived, which made driving down the A9 an interesting experience. After that, it rained and snowed and was sunny, sometimes simultaneously. Had to stay indoors and drink a caseload of Gaillac, which was a real chore. When I did go out, I was pursued by a tidy-looking Mk 1 14E down the N116 from Perpignan. That cheered me up! He spent a while behind me, so I had so slow down to make him overtake, just so as I could have a good look at his motor. Twas a nice shade of blue (bleu romantique, I think) and looked rather well-cared for. Anyway, got back to the UK to yet more rain and snow and I think we're all wondering when the thaw will start, let alone spring. Tsk.

I think 90% of the surviving Mk1's are this colour! either it's a very rust resistant paint (yeah right - just look at Timex ), or it was a very popular choice.
