Just been informed the deal HAS fallen through with this car sadly....for whatever reason I don't know.

Car is available....price is no issue, its free if you want it.

Cheers

I'd have it and put a diesel in it but space seems to be an issue at the moment.....

How long do the pro's think it would take to put a diesel lump into it?

My first petrol to diesel conversion only took a little longer than a normal engine swap, you might run into difficulty if you dont have the parts to hand but its relatively simple, a weekend should see it done.

Why not put a 1.9Gti engin in instead? Would be simpler.

Actually I reckon an N/A diesel lump would be simpler....purely for the fact they have little in the way of wiring.

Most of the original loom was adapted to fit the Emerald management, so you could bodge just about anything in there.

Buy this and the red £150 Activa down by me which runs ok......2.0 Turbo silver BX in a 16v shell :D 8)
