That spot on and therefore its a BX14!!
I looked up the reg no on the DVLA database and thats what they said it was too.

It's a library pic I expect, look at some of the brochure shots and you will see the model badge is blacked out as its a different model.

Your correct though, all turbo diesels had short nosed bonnets and a grille.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Also looks like the rear suspension is knackered - at least the suspension arm bearings need replacing!

They do look that way but was it not a brand new car when these publicity shots were taken?

Yes they would have been new, just the angle of the picture makes it look like that.

I've a couple of brochures for Mk1 estates, and some of those pics have been flipped rather than take pics of a RHD car.
