MOT passed.

Post by mds141 »

Gained another 12 months ticket today. :D 8) So I treated the old girl to a oil & filter change.

I had the tracking checked and it was miles out!! :o Now that it has been properly set up, it is so much nicer to drive.

I noticed some rust on the inner wing seams, so treated it with kurust and applied generous amounts of waxoyl. Whilst it was up on the post lift at Dave Ashworth's I took the opportunity to inspect the underside and I'm pleased to report that time spent last year with the waxoyl has paid dividends, with no signs of corrosion. :)

As always at Dave's there is a good selection of classic Citroen's to admire, namely a SM sans engine, two very nice series one DS's and Dave let me loose in his recently acquired Xantia Activa, which has been 'chipped'. A very potent tool. [-X

So all in all a very productive day. As Hannibal Smith famously said "I love it when a plan comes together"! :)

Do I have to join the queue of the great unwashed, seeking divine Tailblazer healing, or can I use the friends and family entrance? :D

I'll have to sneak you in the back - I'm doing a fresco cycle on the walls and ceiling at the moment; thought it'd promote the right sort of atmosphere. [-o<
