I held out and found a full metal one for my turbo diesel. They are hand made but they last a lot longer than those plastic tank ones.

Also a 16v rad looks very similar but very different. As I had someone try to fob me off with a 16v one.

Thanks David.I`m beginning to think that the 'bespoke' option may be the only solution.There seems to have been a problem with the Dutch produced NRF products which have been withdrawn ( or 'quarantined' as the UK agent put it to me ), probably due to a material/production problem.There are some cores around but these don't fit the Valeo tanks.

Sounds like a Valeo unit will have to be sourced.
