Nice number, Shame about the car. Saw this one listed previously, thought it had sold?
They think it's all over, it is now!

Yes, I`d noticed that too. It went for good money last time but I don`t remember the bit about the engine knocking. Nothing in his feedback history to show he`s bought or sold it so maybe the last winning bidder didn`t show? I`m reasonably certain Ian knows this car, something in the back of my mind says he mentioned something to me about it not too long ago.
Still, I reckon it could be a nice car in the right hands and the plate really sets it off.
Wonder how much it will sell for? I`m going to hazard a guess at circa £550.

Ian??? As in me???

The owner contacted me a few weeks back the first time i thought about selling my BX.

He was interested in my car as the 16v had the knocking engine. Other than that i think the car is ok.

I'm pretty sure it hit the reserve last time. Not surprising though its back on ebay. Theres too many scammers on there now...
Over and out from me

Yes Ian I did mean you! I had it in the back of mind you had mentioned the car. I`m having a bigger nightmare than you could ever imagine on eBay at the moment btw, just reported someone for a foul and abusive message which was totally uncalled for. I don`t know where they are all coming from at the moment. I`m so disenchanted with it I`ve got one or two more things to list then I`m going to give it a rest. The lunatics are taking over the asylum and it`s just a complete waste of time, money and effort to list things for some tuppence ha`penny arsehole to ruin. E-bay are still their pretty useless selves when it comes to reporting problems-they don`t want to know but it`ll be there loss as I`m sure I`m not the only one who`s had enough and will stop using it shortly.
Anyhow, knackers to them-had a reasonably successful week in the world of motoring: just picked up a VERY cheap Escort rally car, have successfully stripped and un-seized my motorbike engine (two stroke-easy even for me), got the Maestro running better and my local garage should be able to fit the BX in next week for the fuel and pipe problems.
