Problem is its on a weekday. And thats when most ppl work. The only person who would bid on it. Is that somone who knows they are becoming a modern classic

go for it could not belive there was another one on the site. It only give you the model of the cars whats on site So if i went on citroen then dropped the model bar no and there was no bx theres no bx.
Ive seen 3 bxes on this site Need to keep popping on every week.

Looks an interesting car if it is? When did the BCA auction happen? If it is the trader is stuffing it straight out for sale.

What is the forums view of auto boxes, are they good? I had a manual 19TRS, same year, was pokey enough. How much does it affect MPG? Thanks

Not owned one myself, but a mate had a 19D Auto ZX for years, while another had the manual version. The Auto did blunt the performance slightly on the hills round here, but it also coped with the occasional towing of a transporter trailer with a 2CV or similar with no signs of stress, and on longer runs at least the difference in fuel consumption was hardly noticable Last heard of knocking about Bristol at 180,000miles and counting. They were quite an advanced box for their day, with a partial lockup of the torque converter in 3rd, and a full lockup in top, which minimised the power losses.

Nice looking car in the best colour, as long as its sound underneath etc...i'd say you could haggle that price down a bit as a 19 carb auto isn't exactly on most peoples shopping lists. I was a passenger in Tim's 19 Petrol Auto going up the M1 (to see Ken?) & it was quite nice & relaxing, had plenty of oomph when required as its quite torquey that engine.
