I dont know why but for some reason I thought the blown head gasket would have thrown the emissions readings for the m.o.t. ? obviously not.
Well done with so much progress in such a short time.

As long as you can run it long enough for that test without it overheating and it isn't misfiring, there shouldn't be an issue.
Great news though!

Re: Operation Blue Streak New Home Required, SOLD
The car is indeed all sorted now and took me to the National and back in style recently! After some thought, I have decided to look for a new home for the car. I like it very much, but as some of you will already know I'm always acquiring new projects and I can soon see this car being used less and less. I'll likely stick it on ebay/carandclassic in the week, but if anyone on here is interested, by all means drop me a PM. I'd rather a BX enthusiast kept looking after it, than someone after an estate to hack around in.

Funny that car was originally supplied from Churt which is about 3 miles from me! Only Yeomans a Honda dealer there now. Has a good pub The Crossways if anyone from the club is ever passing. You can kind of tell the date as its before putting 01 on the phone number....
and my current car was supplied in Doncaster!
