Im forunate enough not to have to use my bx as a everyday car, if i was i like Ian would be running a oil burner. 25mpg on super unleaded is rather pricey!

Unfortunately i've got a fleet of cars i really dont want to get rid of and lack of space/time means that something has to give when i buy a diesel hence i've still got a load of gas guzzlers.....

I`d seen that but as I`m trying desperately to cut down on cars rather than add to the fleet then it would be a backwards step. Anyone else seen the Talbot Samba convertable that`s on eBay?

Anyone else ever driven a Talbot Samba Convertible? My word that's the worst convertible conversion I've ever driven! Fun little car, but my god does it ever flex, rattle, shake and bounce around. The car that took over from it, the 205 convertible was a massively better car.

I had a peugeot 104 which is a similar car, that used to flex too, mainly due to it being rotten! :shock:

Yep, bought the car, then joined the club!
It's a great car, really good condition apart from a few minor dents. Gave it a bit of an 'italian decoke" between london & liverpool, and it goes just fine. Looking forward to many happy miles.
