Ripping Yarns Wanted

Post by M »

http://www.bxclub.co.uk/cars/

There are still a few members of the forum who have yet to put pen to paper / fingers to the keyboard and send us tales of your BX. And there are some members who have new cars and need to update their page - mentioning no names Mr. B.Image

Why not pen a few paragraphs about your BX (or several pages if your name is Billy and you own a BX Museum) and send a few photographs of your car.

The more the merrier - and feel free to contribute if you think you have something to say for the monthly BXpress feature. Remember this site is what you make it - and I for one enjoy looking at other members cars and reading about their history - but then Im not allowed out much!

Just had a quick look again and a couple of points but not major.
On my opening page the 3rd picture down is not of my BX :D It os of Jay who may or may not be a memebr of this forum but he is on 16v forum but has been quiet for a long tim enow.

Also sadly the car that is on the page belonging to Andy has been sold and broken up but hopefully the shell will be saved - there was a thread about it in the For Sale section.

Cheers

Thats odd, I checked my Inbox that goes back about 13 months, and nothing in there, and then I have a BXClub "to do" folder, and I have one email from you in there, recommending Dory's Garage as a specialist. But nothing else I'm afraid.

Sorry!
No problem, must be a glitch. I'll sort something out

Here's a picture of my eBay BX:

I've owned it since December last year and I've generally been rather pleased with it! This £100 BX recently made the trip over to Citromobile in Utrecht - and back - with absolutely no probs whatsoever. Considering it was my first time driving on the Continent, I was pretty relaxed and my friends - and my dad who travelled with me - were quite impressed with how well I did, out and about in Utrecht city centre etc.! Here are a couple of pics from Utrecht:

I had a great time and the BX was lovingly polished at least twice! :)

Sunday lunchtime show in the very early 90's on C4 telly -mostly a mix of current affairs, popular music and sport and well known for its jaunty camera angles where nothing was straight - supposedly marketed as "pirate" television and aimed at impressionable teenagers - like wot I was (just)
