I was outbid Really fancied that but i stuck to a max budget.

Don't forget you've got to factor in the valprex valves for each sphere, buying a bottle of nitrogen isn't mega cheap either, so its not really a big money making scheme, i was just going to save money by doing my cars, but could have also done a few friends cars as well.

That sold for more than it costs to buy a new one from Technosir! And the latest evolution is considerably more compact, and looks easier to use. Madness.

On the gas front, OFN (oxygen free nitrogen, you don't want corrosion in the spheres!) isn't too expensive if you already have a BOC (or similar) account, and you can get it in disposable cylinders if you knows where to look.

I've had a look at prices, but i'm a bit confused over the vat charges & duty to be paid?? Does anyone know how importing something from Italy to the UK actually works?

There is no duty as its a common market with no trade barriers. One of the advantages of being in the EU. You will pay Italian VAT currently 21%.

The EU is supposed to limit VAT as being between 15 and 20% hence the recent variations in UK rates.
