NEC 2013 Nominations - Cast your votes (closing 15th August)

Post by mat_fenwick »

Following on from the nominations thread here we can now have a vote for the cars to be on the stand. We have space for 5 cars, but you don't have to pick all 5 if you only have one favourite!

Choosing is harder than you think! Mk 1 or Mr 2, Diesel or Petrol, hatch or estate, trim levels... Eeek!

If i'm honest, i used one of my votes to persuade Mr Kitch to finish the GT :D

Personally i'd have liked to see a van/enterprise in there, shame there are so few :(

Oooh, this is horrible! In the interests of fairness, I believe Modstox has modified his TGD slightly from the picture?

I feel really bad for the people I didn't vote for. Especially difficult with several of the same model to vote for. But this is reality, you can't all be winners. It's not some bloody telly show! :p

You're right, and I've edited with a more recent pic from his blog - thanks for pointing that out.

If we put on a fantastic show this year, then hopefully there'll be chances for others 2014 and beyond :D

And don't forget, there are other shows (like Bristol) which these car could be lined up for if the owners wish!

I agree it would be nice to have a commercial variant (or an ambulance for that matter), but there's not exactly much choice when it comes to those!

No, it missed the deadline. Shame, bit of polish would sort that out something lovely.

I'm just glad the 14 is up there. There's a bit of a stigma over the 14 model around here and I've no idea why, so glad it's out in front :D

I should have nominated the estate really.....it's probably one of the most well-known cars on here

I also can't believe mine's the only 16v in it :? There wasn't a ph2 last year either, and it's one of the most distinctive versions (certainly provokes more talking from bystanders in shows I've been to) there is. I just thought with the number of decent ph2s on here that there would be a whole heap of them offered up. Maybe people can't make it on that day?
