92 TGD for sale

here is my 92 TGD 1.9n/a it is for sale to make way for the gti, it is a 2 prev owner J plate 30/06/92 bx tgd in silver, brought by myself last august with a broken auto box, it has now been converted to manual using parts from a similar car inc a new clutch. was used every day from november 2012 til may 2013 clocking up a few thousand faultless miles. genuine 105k some history of mots to verify that,
engine excellent no water/oil loss
gearbox average
hyd suspesion very good spheres ok no signs of any leaks hjgh/low op smooth steering nice and light acc clicks 50/60 sec
interior tidy but meteor front seats
all electrics good inc smooth op of sunroof and windows and central locking
tyres good with good tread all round
paintwork good not faded and does polish up nicely
all mech work servicing/mots/repairs has been done at station garage dorking

there are a few bits i should mention, the handbrake has a lot of travel even after adjustment but does work 100% i suspect new cables and pads will cure this, there has been some previous damage to n/s/f corner but this has been repaired to a reasonable standard and a areplacement wing fitted there is also small damage to the bumper corner, there is a crease in the o/s/f door and o/s/r door and a scrape on the n/s/r door, the inner wings have been repaired in the usual places rest of car very solid, rear arms are a bit /\. a new ign barrel has been fitted last year along with a new starter motor and new spheres 6 months prev. a new cyl head at 90k due to water pump seizing and breaking the belt at idle speed. as it stands now it mot expired in may 2013 and is currently sorn, i have 2 set of keys and a stack of mots and some other paperwork, v5 is in my name, to sum it up a fairly tidy car that will prob need a few bits for the mot and some body tlc and you got a nice looking bx, tho a bit slow and noisier than the tzdt, i was getting 50's mpg but personally not a great fan of the n/a diesel, it served its purpose, but i need to make space for pending gti, i can add more pics if needed, i will offer it up first on bxc forum open to sensible offers , viewing can be arranged.

If you got it mot'd & put it on car&classic, you should get a reasonable price, without an mot you won't get much tbh.

Looks a goodun bud but as Matthew says without the MOT it wont be worth much more than scrap value which is a shame.
Why dont you get it MOTd?

i have just recently lost my dry storage unit due to re-development and have nowhere to keep it now, finding storage space or just finding someone that will dry store cars (even for pound notes) seems impossible as all the old local industrial sites/units and most of the council garage blocks have been flattened to make way for "modern living" i currently have the tzdt, tgd, gti arriving tmrw, my daughters dead 106, and the wifes 206 on the front lawn.
