Not an official hack, here, but more of a sniffling nose :^o (Yeah I know its Pinocchio really, but to good to miss). I have dabbled and been published, but have not written to live blah .

Lots of littles from the enthusiast side are no bad thing as it creates the underswell if action going on out in the real world. If BX are not a classic now, I think they have turned that corner, they will be. Its the last of the real DIY hands on generation of cars before computers, Citroen got much of the car sorted out in the run and they work well, and they are eccentric, which means different. So the credentials are there. ^^bx>

Snippits hitting the mags means that one of them will take a main feature up. The trick is to be in near the beginning so it can be bent towards being a good and informative reflection and not some rubbishy ill researched item that serves to confuse people. All to easy with many models and standard urban gibberish associated to Citroens in general. Keep the pressure up and some availability of cars for test/photo call and it should come. [-o<

T'dah! Fame at last. From September's Practical Classics (on your news stands now) . . .

Not Tim's brilliant beige BX, not early models and not a PSA rally. But who cares? It's a start. =D>

But it was a BX, and it was a UK rally. That'll do.

if the cap fits.....I was referring to the late 80's/90s when diesel seemed to stain alot more and I think people werent used to filling them and they regularly blew back and ended up covering your best broques in smelly derv! I remember my dads collegaue also having a red 19RD which he left at our house once whilst they went off on a trip together and it was covered in black goo down the osr wing (for about an hour before I cleaned it).
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
