Wheel Choice

For me the red with black trimming defines the colour choice. There is no grey on the car but there is shine so it has to be silver for a balanced finish. Using the dark wheels risk the car being dour and not looking clean. I am sure that is why the BX came with nice big silver discs on the wheels.

Add in sporty swoopy bits and the wheels become part of the overall style. With darker tints to lights, glass and add ons the car will wear the darker wheels if it is the right colour. Bit tricky on an Estate.

Call me a heretic if you will, but I've never really liked the look of those wheels anyway....
I prefer the ones that look like the early metrics - which is why I've got two sets of them!
In fact, just blasted and painted (with entirely the wrong shade of silver grey, but it was cheap) one set and off to get fresh rubber fitted this very morning.

Can't agree there. The darkened sections around all the windows, extending onto the tailgate aren't black, they're grey. Like the wheel centres.
