Ain't gonna be no Doom Bar, haven't been to Skinners, but I did take a little trip to St. Austell and the Cider Farm...electrokid wrote:Unlikely to be there for the weekend but the prospect of a few Doom Bar... Hmmm... tempting

Me neither...
Re: Stratford: Spannering for beer...
I've got the special 'clic' pliers somewhere to sort out those front leak off pipes in a jiffy. An hour of knuckle stripping and swearing can be five minutes of joy.. see if I can find them before I launch tomorrow. No one said anything to me about drunkards though, I only want to talk parts numbers with god fearing herbal tea swilling 'enthusiasts' thankyou

I'll be there Sat with enough tools to strip the car down to component parts and start again.
I'm thin enough to crawl out from under a BX that's on low too, so no problem, as long as we're all pissed and it's 2AM. It just aint Stratty unless car repairs are carried out by torch light after 90 .

How late do they let you stay if you're not camping? I can't stay overnight but am keen to partake (by that I mean watch and laugh) in this amazing spectacle!

Actually, my car won't be being spannered at 2am, others may well be though!

Kitch, I don't think they ever lock the gate, I seem to remember taking a walk pass the swingers camping field up to the gate one year, about 2am, and it was open then.

You really, really really don't want to bring a camcorder, well not for that reason anyway.
Oooh oooh, there is normally a car boot on the sunday morning as well, but its usually over by 9:30am, so i don't often make it!
