StTropez back on the road. MOT pass.

Post by Stinkwheel »

Well i'm happy to report that Charlotte's new wheels are ready for the road as the StTropez passed its MOT yesterday after nearly a year off the road. A good going over wash and brush up and she was raring to go.
I had really forgotten how much of a joy the little 14 is with her willing and smooth engine and feel packed manual steering, what fun :D :D :D

Have a picture of her showing silly blue oval cars what's what!!

Excellent.

I owned that car for about a week lol! Very white indeed. Now all you have to do is drive it St. Tropez and get some nice pics :)

Much better than photographing it here...

Thanks to all for kind words :-)

Tim, i believe as time goes on now she will start to look better and better bit by bit, i feel the old St Trop deserves a little pampering for a change.

Phil, StTropez to StTropez, i wonder is Dez fancies a roadtrip ?

[-X Oy!! Watch that loose talk, Timothy! Thought you could sneak in a 'Tesco' dig while I was offline! No chance! (Eventually)...

@Stinkwheel - I've thought about St Tropez as a possible destination, but unless BX Club go as a gang and drive all over the beach, I'm lacking the necessary motivation.

Anyway, well done on getting it back on the road - thine and mine are fully 25% of the world's supply of roadworthy St Tropez. My MOT is due in November (funnily enough over NEC weekend) but unless I'm very much mistaken, passing shouldn't be a drama.

I expect yours will pass without the need for any work whatsoever, which is nice and as it should be :)

And i do agree about the idea of a StTropez jaunt, it would have be be part of a wider scheme, as its a bit far just to say 'we did that'

Im quite saddened that so few UK St Tropez have survived as they really are a bit different in the BX world these days.
