I've got a 1994 L reg TZD 1.7 with the black/grey zig-zaggy interior and want to know if it should have rear headrests. Pretty sure it has the holes for them.
My car is like this http://www.bxclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18598" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I regularly have adult passengers in the back so it would be nice to get some headrests. I can't imagine it is supposed to have them, but I might get some anyway.

Optional extra I think, all BX's have the holes for them.

Rear headrests will be very hard to source.
You can cut down the more-easy-to-find front ones with a hacksaw (some purists scoff at this eminently sensible solution).

I have a pair of rear headrests in excellent condition, in blue cloth (not velour, more tweedy) if anyone's interested.

I usually topple over into the-original-designer-knows-best pool, so I'm not doing any permanent scarring with any aftermarket outrages. Saying that, I might mutilate some front headrests and stick em in.

Mk1 top spec cars came with them (TRS/GT) as standard but otherwise they were optional extras, as Kevan says they all had provision for them. Finding correct pattern genuine rears will be very hard, but you can cut down fronts or swop the stems over if you do manage to find some.
