Citroen BX TZD Hurricane Interior

Ok guys, as promised the bloke i bought the tzd from has kept good to his work and delivered every single spare part he has for the car. The back of his sprinter van was totally full as is now my garage.

Haven't had chance to catalogue all the parts yet but, notable ones are green hurricane plastic/fibreglass bonnet, green hurricane passenger front wing, various aircon parts including drier, aircon pump (was assured in good order).

But the main event is the hurricane interior which includes the door cards (I will NOT split the cards from interior and will be sold complete).

Its in v.good condition, no rips, and any marks that can be seen from pictures are dust from storage. The door handles are in a box somewhere in the garage and will be sold complete, less electric window switches.

Give me your offers chaps and chapesses, but no insulting ones, eg £50 as i'd rather hang onto them (bear in mind, its in v.good condition and where are you going to find another set?)

I'm not too sure you have got the gist of how this friendly BX forum works my friend, if you want people to bid against each other for your goods you use a place called ebay, BX Bandit has already asked if he can buy this Hurricane interior off you in another thread giving him the first option to come to a mutually agreeable price with you before other members.

As above, tbh whilst £50 doesn't sound like much, most interiors don't usually sell for much more (apart from leather one's), hopefully interested parties will pm you with an offer, all the best with the sale.

Let's give the chap some leeway as he might not of seen my post.

To SKR, I couldn't sell a 'more desirable' 16v interior for a £100 only a few months ago, but due to both low ish demand and the fact that most BX owners have said cars due partly to low costs, prices can be fickle but none the less on the up. £50 is about right for a complete Hurricane interior IMO, That said, some literally give stuff away and legends they are too.

My current interior is fine, just lacking one door card, so I can't justify much of an outlay. Your interior looks fabulous so I gracefully recede my interest in the hope that the interior will get snapped up by another worthy BX-er.

I really think you'll be more likely to find Hurricane owners wanting to make good their existing interior with the odd seat or door card, than you will be to find someone who wants to buy the lot. I'm guessing it's a fairly limited market of people that already have an interior who would want to change it all for a non standard Hurricane one!

I would suggest that you at least give a guide price if selling on this forum. My guess is it would fetch £50-75 on eBay.

Have admit I chuckled at the 'no silly offers eg £50' statement! That's top money for a non-leather BX interior!

There's no such thing as a silly offer if there's such a small potential pool of customers. If you have unrealistic expectations on value, you run the risk of the interior cluttering up your garage and slowly degrading over time. If it helps give you an idea of the going rate, I've agreed to buy a pair of seats for a BX St Tropez for £35, but that includes the seller bringing them from Holland.

agreed /\ interiors can take up a lot of space, £50/75 tops, get shot while its still clean/complete, covered in crap it will be worthless.

I have a slightly worn drivers seat in my GTI, if It was the same pattern fabric I would be tempted, perhaps I would be willing to part with £100 at the top. But I don't really want the rest so would probably flog the rest on.
Incidentally, I would snap up a good drivers seat for £25, and I guess if you needed a door card in the right colour you would be willing to pay £25 as well.
But who ever needs a back seat?
Top money would be £100 I think if you really needed one, and £50 if you weren't that bothered

Dont know if Matt H still pops into the forum or not, but i think im correct in saying that he payed just over 100 quid for his full black leather interior. Im sure someone will be able to verify this if he doesnt see this post.

SKR079 have you just not come back onto the forum and checked your thread or are you holding back because you ve managed to sell it already
