LHM Leak - no surprise there

Thanks Andy. I was looking at the returns on both cars and they only have 2 pipes descending from the inlet to the reservoir (PipeB) as per the link drawing http://www.mars.dti.ne.jp/~ynar/bxorg_a" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... /m15e.html
This part No 96119048 would appear to be correct except for the 3rd pipe. It would mean one pipe to front ride height corrector and one to rear via link. It corresponds to Pipe inlet B in schematic. Just not sure where 3rd thicker pipe goes. It may be a newer design that allows another feed into it and replaces an earlier part. Possibly it collects the brake stuff as well deleting Pipe C in the schematic. Would kill 2 birds in one if I don't have to change a 3rd pipe

In terms of visualising it, it looks like the normal Pipe B, then the 1st down pipe is the thick one(?) then a pair of smaller tubes (definitely the ride height corrector returns) and of course the main pipe carries on.

Happily all is resolved. A swap of return with Mat has been great and we both have the correct parts for our respective cars.

Also now we know there are 2 types of return depending on the Citroen ID No inside passenger door. A before and after case. Fairly sure there are no other returns doing the same job, just the Octopus and one other part in my earlier type.

Thanks guys. I have found the split going into the frh corrector. It took a little while but it is right on the seam of the tube moulding. There was quite a bit of LHM all over the back of the corrector and the rubber has a small tear in it but I think (hope, as it does work) it is OK. A bit of conjecture might be that the 'flash' off the moulding causes extra local pressure from the sleeve outside and the clip and thereby premature failure. I think I will locally clean off the 'flash' off the new one before fitting. Only a small detail but it might help give it extra life or at least one less reason to fail

Any thoughts, experience of this?

Don't worry Philip there's enough LHM in the boot to refill the system....

BTW Our Finnish friend R Mattilia's little tip of feeding the old pipe through and refeeding the new one with 2.5mm² coated wire stuffed inside the tubing works a treat. He details it for the Octous but it works on this feed as well.

Have successfully installed the new 'Oil Back Harness' aka 'Squid' or little octopus. The worst reconnection was to the Fr RHCorrector. It just would not go on, until I got a centre punch warmed up with a propane torch and gently suffed it inside the tube. Obviously this warmed and opened the orifice and then she popped on sweetly. Be careful not to overheat hte punch or tapered drift though as I'm sure it is possible to damage the rubber tube ie melt it, or weaken it.
