Thank you very much, its a nice surprise to work on with new parts going out of stock so bits can be had cheaply.

I do like the dark silver colour, like kitchs car not sure what its called though.

I currently have a gul yellow Volvo being full re sprayed, may get bx next line to sort body work once mechanicals are finished

Well finished the exhaust and near enough the fuel lines from tank forward.

Just some tyres, spray bar (wipers) and the cambelt then its mot time.

Got the car up and driving now, just run out of time. New baby due in 6 weeks and have a couple of car shows and other car related meets over the next few months on the weekends. Looks like I will have to continue in the spring.

Definitely work worth while. Good effort. I hope to start work on mine in the spring, although recent glances show it's gonna be a tough job!

Ha ha, it probably will be yes! I intend to fit 16v work in around all the other crap I have to do as opposed to it being a dedicated project like the white one. It's worth taking time over and being methodical, but it will prob take ten years to complete!

Well I really can't talk - I have a long term project that I started 10 years ago and still doesn't even move under its own power. But I've recently started making more of an effort (OK, any effort is more of an effort than before) on getting it done. Weird how little things can kick start you into making progress!

Ill have to find a decent cover for it, and give it a good wash, it's probably ready for mot now apart from finding a good Cambelt cover, Cambelt looks fine, done approx 15k just prefer to change due to age.

The rest of car looks good underneath, changed fuel lines to copper as had deteriorated, couple of good front tyres, new lhm fluid, new acc sphere, sorted exhaust, and a good clean.

A service and it would go through an mot I reckon without too much hassle.

I'm going to give the car a wash this week and possibly advertise it, or store it away until next year.

Its now up and driving and a very solid car, when i was working on it, it didn't seem to need much for the mot and most of the obvious things i have taken car of, sphere, lhm fluid, tyres, exhaust, and new copper fuel lines.

If anyone is interested send me a pm as i doubt i'll be on for a few months.

I'd be looking for £700
