I have a couple of wheels kicking about here that I can use, plus I may be able to borrow a couple from the Westons if I ask really nicely. I'm also watching a couple of headlights on the bay.

If I'm really lucky some of those tyres may inflate, although I don't think I'd want to take it very far on the road with them on! I also have most of a set of correct wheel trims. It's also another car that I'll probably do the cambelt on before running it much!

Well I've talked to the owner, and he sounds like a good bloke who would rather see it go to someone who'll make use of it than it just be scrapped. He was a little concerned as to whether I realised it didn't go, but I assured him that I had a fair idea as to what I was in for.

I've got the transporter all booked and this time next week I should be struggling with flat tyres, sticky brakes and whatever else may hold me up while trying to load it onto the truck.

A good outcome. Storage is a real bugbear and potential cost. Sees off many a savable car. Starting to look to address my storage to get the costs and sheer number of remote sites down. One reason for my moving.

Know what you mean. I'm my own worst enemy though. My brother's campervan will be shifting out of my main storage area soon and my first reaction wasn't that I could empty a lockup into the space, but that it was space for another car!
