I saw him too, there still there and diesel. If this is the original from the old stock because it does not produce long-Citroen hydraulic parts for older models. But it may still be an option that washed, dyed and sold as new .

I spotted both of these HP pumps within 24 hr's of them being listed on E-bay, but I refrained from posting up the spots as they both had a bid against them, but now 'The cats out the bag'

The HP pump listing for Citroen part number: 95 589 236 ended with a closing bid of £225+postage£6 = £231 !
And it only comes with a 'Cardboard-box' rather than a 'Metal-box'

I'm bidding on the diesel hp pump.

I must admit i was surprised that the petrol one went for decent money, but then again, brand new one's don't often come up & perhaps a couple of bidders were desperate to get hold of that one?

I'm not mentioning how much i've bid upto, incase someone decides to outbid me, needless to say i actually need this pump for my txd & don't intend to be selling it on for a profit etc....

both my diesel bx's cost less than that!

I hope they both work well for the new owners but my experience of new but old car parts on eBay hasn't been good lately, 2 alternators both unused but both with different problems...

Come on Richard you already know he didn't from the bidding, that and the fact you know he wouldn't of bid that high.

Strange our cars are worth so little as a whole but when an unobtainable NEW part comes along they fetch as much if not more than a car

Did you try the cheap recon one you bought the other year Matt? I bought one too but won't know if it's any good until I need it.

I bought a cheap (15GBP) one a couple of years back from someone who was selling quite a few.
It works brilliantly pumping the car up as soon as the engine starts but I have removed it now, Why ? Because it leaks lhm from the shaft seal and this gets sprayed around a bit by the pulley.
Not good but worth a punt at the time I reckon.

I might see what pleiades can do to it one day.
