Alrighty everyone

Post by prc86 »

Good morning, thought i'd pop up a quick post to say hi, joined the forum after seeing the stand at the NEC. Was superb by the way.

The red GTI stole the show for me and i'm now actively hunting a ph2 GTI 16v. Bee a long term fan but seeing one in the flesh after so long has made my mind up. On the way home i advertised my Vectra Sri T for sale, which is my daily, to fund the purchase of a BX.

Myself and other family members have been citroen fans for quite a while, had a range of cx's, xm's, multiple bx's. My first car was a ZX volcane TD!

Also into my old BMW's, my e28 525e will become my daily soon most likely.

Have a good day!

Hello and welcome.

A guy stopped by the stand who wants to sell not one, but two red 16v GTIs*. Hopefully he will register and advertise them here, if not then keep an eagle eye on the FS section as most things will end up there sooner or later, linked by members from ebay/C&C/etc if not advertised directly.

It was nice to see some 'realistic' cars if that makes sense. There was a good variety at the show.

That could be interesting, i'd even consider a project, to a certain degree. There is a GTI 4x4 on ebay just now, anyone know the car?

Dont know the car im afraid but...

As a daily use car the 4x4 can be a bit fragile, they have a reputation for being somewhat hand built at the time and many 4x4 specific parts havent been available for a very long time and it appears at one time or another they have pretty much all eaten their own transfer box.

Not trying to be unhelpful but hopefully gives you a bit of knowledge :)

Thats actually being very helpful i was unsure about 4x4 as i know nothing about the 4wd system. I'd much rather a 2wd anyway
