BXtras

Post by deltic »

Mention of the heated leather seats in a 16V in thread http://www.bxclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=19016" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; made me wonder about some of the rarer options available on BXs. Perhaps others can think of more but I've come up with this list in no particular order:

Heated seats (not previously heard of this as an option)
Leather seats (I only recall black - any other colour options?)
Centre armrest
Rear headrests (how many are genuine rather than cut down fronts?)
Computer (any one actually got one of these or a photo?)
Air conditioning
Alloy wheels other than Speedlines
And of course that reflective thing I can't remember the name of between the rear lights that always seems to get everyone frothing...

As an aside on my GTi I have four blank switches in row between the seats - what are these used for? I only ever seeing one being used on a 4x4.

On Mk1's, the front window switches are on the central console.

As for rare options - rear window louvres, electric drivers mirror, air con, full towing pack (tow bar, plug in tow electrics and 2nd cooling fan), tinted windows, door handle protectors, headlamp guards, Blaupunct swan neck mounted graphic equaliser.
