Has everyone forgot about 4x4?
That's a rare extra.

One thing I have always wondered about though; there is a space & wiring connections for a extra gauge/dial/clock under the rev counter, what was this? as I have never seen one fitted there.

1992 Citroën BX 1.9 TXD (with GTI engine; Mulleys old car) - Parts car.

No, its not bud, 4x4 not an extra, its a 4x4. Stands alone as a model, and a cracker, therefore not an extra. Was not applicable to any other model as 'extras' were. Think this thread is going off track unlike early 1920s and 30s Citroens.

My Gti has 2 indicators below, one is the K light and the other the ABS warning light. The handbook shows the diesel tacho having a position for the ABS only although the back of the pod may have some commonality.

Not BX specific, but I'd love to find a genuine Citroen windsurf board and sail!

Also on Tailblazers, the early ones were just a flat reflective panel, but I've only seen them in catalogues.

I found some, newe old stock. Gleefully went to fit them and then discovered they were hatchback versions and the estate cubby holes are longer.... :(

Not sure if they made them for estates? Certainly never seen any.

They did make a longer version for estate length boot panels.

I did the exact opposite of you, bought a NOS set from ebay and found they were too long for the hatchback. Went straight back on ebay and I as least I got my money back.

And the hinged lids on the cubby holes each side of the load space.
I looked around for a pair - then I saw a picture of them and wasn't impressed so decided to make them - haven't got around to doing so yet.
As an aside on my GTi I have four blank switches in row between the seats - what are these used for? I only ever seeing one being used on a 4x4.
It's for the diff lock.

I didn't realise that mudflaps were an extra ! At least that's something I've got then :)

Come to think of it, I've never seen an estate with a trailblazer, was this not an option for them ?

I'd like a swan neck for one of mine, but they fetch a couple of hundred quid these days.

and Nope, tailblazers were not available for the estates, unless they did one of the flat panel ones for them, which I've never seen pictures of.

I have seen pictures of folding plywood load bay liners for GSA ad CX estates - did they ever do them for the BX?
