Thats more than its scrap value so he wont have a chance of selling it at that price.

Andy

There is a rolling shell in the sale so couldn't you just put the TZD lump in the red shell and declare the engine change ?

Chipping Norton is currently featured in the brand new edition of the hilariously funny, 'Crap Towns'. Foremost amongst a whole host of reasons as to why it's 'crap' is the fact that the aforementioned Mr.Clarkson is a resident there. As if happens the Lancastrian seaside town of Morecombe also gets an honorable mention, though - strangely enough - no mention of you Mark or indeed your XM. :D

..that_

The same seller also has a 'AC Cobra' kit car F/S !

Is that possibly a MK1 BX Estate in the background (Mk1 wing but MK2 door mirror), or something else ?

Image

Click on image for link !

Checking on the seller's FEEDBACK they sold a BX estate in June 2012 (obviously no stranger to BX's) , but refused to sell a Horse-box 'Due incorrect reserve' set

Is the seller a forum member by any chance ?

If so good luck with the sale !

:)

Isn't that a Volvo 740 or 760 in the picture, not a Mk. 1 BX?

Were these the folk with a rather pretty low miler TZDish BX that was advertised for a while before selling?

hey, chipping Norton is a great little town, just a bit quiet for me. (that's why I left at 16) would love to move back now but couldn't afford to live there.

JC and Ronnie Barker to name but a few of the strange locals,

all the F1 teams based in Enstone up the road cant be wrong and the road between chipping Norton and stratford on avon is a great drive, even better on a bike !

on another note, my diesel that I sold a few months ago is due to be on E4 soon in a program called my fat teen diary based in the 90's. Great now I will have to watch all that crap just to see it !

Key thing would be the state of that red shell, now what model was that? Only if it were a base 14 would it be any different to most of the others.
